My solution used an upward sloping line to signify aspiration and improvement while also holding connotations with the analytic method of plotting data on a graph. Aiming for the urban streetwear market we eventually settled on the name 'Root' and set about designing an initial run of 5 designs. We used a local screen-printers to produce a total of 50 tees, hand printed our own tags and sewed in the embroided labels.
